JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for MedellÃn-Necocli Medglobal project coordination and implementation of project and operations activities, adherence to logistics, human resources, administration, and security procedures. Serves as the central MedGlobal presence and point of contact in MedellÃn and Necocli.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as main Medellin-Necocli MedGlobal liaison with clinical partners and other partners.
- Oversee clinic activities in the Medellin Bus terminal and in the distribution sites in Necocli (when needed)
- Handling administrative work to make sure procurement processes follow MedGlobal guidelines and are completed on time
- Make sure data collection is done on a monthly basis and reports (financial, work plan, and metrics) are submitted to MedGlobal on time with their supporting documentation (list of monthly consultations, list of medications
- Visit the MedGlobal clinic at least three times a week and be available should any challenge arise. Communicate any challenges as soon as it appears to the MedGlobal Country Representative and Regional Program Manager.
- Make sure stationary supplies are available at the clinic at all times.
- Represent MedGlobal in meetings and correspondence with local stakeholders including the MOH, local hospitals and other organizations and NGOs.
- Provide supervision and coordination of health staff in Medellin and Necocli.
- Coordinate media content to be used for social media, fundraising, etc.
- Accountable for the organization of reliable and cost-effective local procurement processes for medication, medical supplies and other supplies needed ofr day to day operation.
- Responsible and accountable for the overall success of all logistics, procurement and purchase agreements
- Work with clinical partner and local health to ensure that project reports are accurate and complete.
- Report effectively to the Country Representative about project implementation.
- Responsible for visibility printing material and media coverage.
- Responsible for carrying out the medications inventory list.
- Work closely with the Medglobal clinic coordinator to improve clinic history processes and other.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of experience supporting clinical processes, implementation of health projects, health reporting programs, and other.
- Previous NGO work.
- Experience with migrant and refugee populations.
- Team work.
- Working under pressure.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Detailed oriented.
- Ability to keep its superiors informed about project’s updates and progress.
- Ability to work independently, quickly, problem solve, anticipate challenges, and handle data with confidentiality.
- Strong skills working with a variety of systems and technologies, including but not limited to Google Suite, Microsoft office, Excel, Adobe PDF.
