Mission

Coordination Unit of the Emergency Unit of MdM-Spain and the Country Coordination of MdM Belgium in Morocco.
Responsibilities
Carry out needs identification, define the intervention to be carried out and its operational strategy.
Guarantee the coordination of the intervention team.
Coordinate and supervise the selection processes of local personnel.
Manage the national and expatriate team, ensuring their motivation and involvement in the project.
Contribute to strengthening the team’s capabilities.
Coordinate the development and justification of the intervention.
Identify operational problems and risks, adapting the structure and activities if necessary.
Participate in coordination meetings with international and national participants.
Identify strategic alliances with participants on the ground.
Ensure compliance with the organization’s internal regulations and safety standards.
Active monitoring of potential emergency situations.
Prepare monitoring reports.
Maintain fluid communication with the country coordination and the coordination of the MdM emergency unit.
Training
Academic degree:
University degree
Additional preparation:
Health degree, master’s degree or diploma in public health, humanitarian or gender action
Training in Sphere Standard, CHS (Core Humanitarian Standard) and/or professional certification in the field of protection and humanitarian action (PHAP, disaster management, etc.)

Experience
At least 5 years of experience in similar positions
Experience in project identification and management
Experience working with international, national and local actors in complex contexts
