Job Title: School Nurse

Job Brief
- We are looking for an experienced school nurse, who can provide essential medical care and support to students.
Job Responsibilities
- Educating students and staff on health-related issues.
- Conducting health screenings
- Dispensing prescription medications to students per physician instructions
- Verifying vaccination records
- Taking students’ temperatures when fever is suspected
- Administering first aid and CPR
- Treating minor injuries such as cuts, scrapes, and bruises including chronic illnesses.
- Contacting parents when students are ill or injured
Requirements
- Degree in Nursing or relevant Nursing qualification
- 3 – 4 years work experience.
- Experience in clinical work as a Nurse
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Must be a female between the age of 25-40 years
- Empathetic and able to relate with children
- Ability to demonstrate a calm, caring demeanor when working with children
- Good presentation skills for training school staff
- Ability to remain focused in the event of a student medical emergency
