Context:

Tdh-L has been present in Mauritania since 1984. She is currently involved in the fields of health, mobility and’access to justice. These three programmes work in synergy and are enriched by transversal expertise such as transversal protection, WASH, and’ICT4D. His approach has constantly focused on outreach work in conjunction with the competent Mauritanian authorities and communities. As such, Tdh-L benefits from a wide recognition and credibility with the state authorities (ministry of the’ social action of the child and the family, ministry of justice, direction of the judicial protection of the’enfant,) and also international donors.

Tdh-L S’ready to start an emergency’ project in the field of Mental Health and Pys-chosocial Support in the Hod El Chargui region, with a duration of 12 months.

Main responsibilities:

  • Le.la Chef.fe de Projet is integrated(e) into the Programme « Children and Youth in Mobility (EJM) ». She is responsible for coordinating the implementation of the project activities on mental health and psychosocial support for refugee populations and host communities;
  • Under the supervision of the Coordinator of the EJM Programme of the Delegation and the Regional Coordinator EJM, she ensures the programmatic and budgetary management of the project ;
  • It guarantees a quality implementation of the project activities, in compliance with deadlines and consistent with the standards and quality standards of the EJM regional program and within the framework of the global quality and accountability standards of Tdh-L ;
  • Elle.il is responsible for setting up a monitoring and evaluation system enabling it to properly collect data in order to’ draw up the reports due to the lessor within the deadlines set ;
  • Elle.il is responsible for the management and supervision of the’ Project team and compliance with Tdh-L HR Policies.

Profile :

Training :

  • University degree in psychology, humanities and social sciences or a related compulsory field.
  • Mental health qualifications and desired psychosocial support.
  • Project management training appreciated.

Experience / Skills :

  • At least 3 years of experience in a project management or similar position, ideally in West or North Africa.
  • Proven experience in coordination, including at the international level.
  • Experience in capacity building ;
  • Proven experience in the implementation of projects within’ONG, in international cooperation and/or humanitarian context ;
  • Experience in’writing of project proposals and grant management, seeking funding, and good knowledge of financial partners ;
  • L’experience working with refugees would be an asset;
  • Proven experience in mental health and protection issues ;
  • Proven experience in representation, including before government authorities ;
  • Previous experience in human resources management and leadership.

Languages :

  • French essential current, English and arabic an asset

IT knowledge :

  • Perfect mastery of computer tools (Pack Office)

Salary :

Expatriate contract under Swiss law, gross monthly salary between 3758 CHF and 5078 CHF x13 (+ AVS retention for Swiss candidate). Insurance, illness, accident, repatriation. 25 days leave/year. Ticket’avion AR/year.
