Are you a skilled South Sudanese professional passionate about strengthening health systems and making a lasting impact in your country?
HACOF South Sudan is bidding to implement a nationwide initiative focused on improving health sector performance, transparency, and service delivery through independent monitoring and data-driven engagement.
We are seeking expressions of interest from qualified, committed South Sudanese experts eager to contribute to meaningful change. These positions are not yet active but are part of an upcoming initiative. Candidates will be considered for recruitment upon successful project confirmation.
Play a direct role in improving healthcare access and accountability while influencing decision-making through data, evidence, and independent monitoring. We are assembling a diverse team of South Sudanese experts and specialists, and we invite expressions of interest from qualified professionals ready to lead and shape the future of the health sector.
GIS Specialists:
Develop and manage geospatial datasets, support spatial analysis of monitoring results, and generate maps and visualizations for reports and dashboards.
• Use geospatial analysis to visualize health data and trends.
• Create maps and visual tools to represent health facility coverage and gaps
• Conduct spatial analysis of health indicators and service reach
• Integrate GIS data into dashboards and reports
• Maintain geospatial databases and layers for mapping health assets
• Provide technical guidance on GPS data collection and use
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s in GIS, Geography, or Geospatial Sciences
• 3+ years of GIS experience in a health, humanitarian, or development setting
• Proficient in ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar mapping software
• Understanding of geospatial data cleaning and remote sensing tools.
