Job Title: Haematologist

Job Summary
- The Haematologist will diagnose, manage, and treat patients with blood disorders, including anaemia, clotting disorders, sickle cell disease, and blood cancers.
- The role involves clinical assessment, laboratory interpretation, treatment planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a variety of haematological conditions
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood counts, bone marrow biopsies, and coagulation studies
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
- Collaborate with other specialists and healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
- Participate in research, teaching, and continuous professional development where applicable
- Provide patient education on disease management and treatment options
Qualifications & Requirements
- A Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution
- Board certification or eligibility for certification in Haematology
- Demonstrated experience in clinical haematology, including diagnosis and management of complex blood disorders
- Strong analytical and clinical judgment, with a commitment to evidence-based practice
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
