We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Haematologist

Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Haematologist will diagnose, manage, and treat patients with blood disorders, including anaemia, clotting disorders, sickle cell disease, and blood cancers.
  • The role involves clinical assessment, laboratory interpretation, treatment planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage a variety of haematological conditions
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood counts, bone marrow biopsies, and coagulation studies
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
  • Collaborate with other specialists and healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in research, teaching, and continuous professional development where applicable
  • Provide patient education on disease management and treatment options

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution
  • Board certification or eligibility for certification in Haematology
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical haematology, including diagnosis and management of complex blood disorders
  • Strong analytical and clinical judgment, with a commitment to evidence-based practice
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
