- Environmental health
- Rights and health system
- Humanitarian spaces
Médecins du Monde in the Central African Republic – Kabo Program
Médecins du Monde is launching a new primary health care project in the Kabo area, a rural and isolated territory in the north of the country.
The context is demanding: strong epidemiological pressure (malaria, infectious diseases, risk of outbreaks), non-functional health facilities, regular shortages of essential medicines, limited human resources, degraded infrastructure, fluctuating insecurity hindering access and continuity of care.
This project —financed in particular by ECHO and the CAR humanitarian fund — aims to put a weakened local health system back into service, in conjunction with health authorities and communities.
Why we need you
You will play a key role in relaunching, structuring and supervising the project’s medical activities.
This is a position for a person who loves build, organize, accompany, in an unstable environment but with a strong humanitarian impact.
In short:
👉 you are the builder–manager–doctor who restores health structures to working order, supports teams and guarantees the quality of care provided to patients.
Your missions
👉 Relaunch health facilities (FOSA)

- exercise local leadership in a fragile and changing environment.
👉 Contribute to the functional rehabilitation of infrastructure

👉 Adapt activities to the security context
- adjust medical strategies according to variations in access, manage temporary suspensions, make rapid decisions with few resources.
👉 Analyze medical data and guide strategy
- monitor key indicators (malaria, consultations, emergencies), analyze epidemic peaks, guide operational decisions.
