About Clear Solutions and our approach Clear Solutions working in Chad since 2025, where we integrated the distribution of oral rehydration salts (ORS) and zinc into the chemoprevention of seasonal malaria, in partnership with Malaria Consortium. Today we want to expand our network of local partners.
Our starting point is simple: when a family already has ORS and zinc at home, before a child becomes ill, the likelihood that they will receive this treatment increases significantly. In Nigeria, we are testing a coupon model that allows families to build up this reserve at home for free. We seek to understand what other models make sense in the Chadian context.
This is an exploratory approach. We first want to discuss, understand what already exists on the ground, and together identify approaches that could work.
Provinces of interest Chari-Baguirmi, Guéra, Hadjer-Lamis, Logone Occidental, Logone Oriental, Mandoul, Mayo-Kebbi East, Mayo-Kebbi West, Middle-Chari, Ouaddaï and Tandjilé. (We remain open to discussions regarding other provinces).
