We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Medical Doctor (MBBS)

Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos
Employment Type: Part-time

Job Summary

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered medical care while working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure effective diagnosis, treatment, and overall patient wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, assessments, and physical examinations
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions
  • Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for patients
  • Prescribe medications and treatments in line with established clinical guidelines
  • Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans when necessary
  • Request and interpret laboratory and diagnostic investigations
  • Attend to medical emergencies and provide prompt clinical intervention
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date patient medical records
  • Provide appropriate referrals and coordinate care with specialists when required
  • Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive healthcare
  • Collaborate effectively with nurses and other healthcare professionals
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical guidelines, safety regulations, and infection prevention standards
  • Support a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment

Requirements

  • Must be a qualified Medical Doctor (MBBS or equivalent)
  • Valid practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN)
  • 2–5 years relevant clinical experience in a hospital setting (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of clinical medicine, diagnosis, and patient management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
