The incumbent of this post is responsible to Head Health Centre (A) or (B), as applicable.
In accordance with Agency policy and procedures, the incumbent: (A) Provides general outpatient services and other special services, including maternal and child health, control of non-communicable diseases as well as for hospital referrals; (B) Participates in on-the-job and in-service training of other staff in accordance with the approved plans; (C) Replaces other Medical Officers during their absence, in the same or other health centres, as required; (D) Performs other duties as may be required.
(i) Ability to work under pressure and cope with heavy workload; (ii) Good organizational and planning skills; (iii) Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively deal with patients; (iv) Self-motivated; (v) Ability to lead a team and work as a team member; (vi) Proficiency in standard Agency computer applications.

* Conditions of service: Contract Status: – Limited Duration Contract for 6 months renewable appointment subject to funding confirmation. Monthly basic salary: 896.20 USD Grade: Band F.
