Created in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights against world hunger. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has founded its identity for more than 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies linked to conflict and natural disasters. YOUR POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As SMSP Program Manager, the objective of your action will be to identify and implement quality, relevant and innovative SMPS interventions in Tshikapa in compliance with the strategy, ACF and international standards and national policies.
More precisely, you will:
– Provide analyzes on the strategy and positioning of the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support department in the Tshikapa region in accordance with the objectives of the consortium;
– Ensure the implementation, monitoring and drafting of reports for PMSC projects;
– Contribute to quality and accountability processes, as well as to the evaluation of the impact of PMSC programs;
– Participate in coordination, representation and Action Against Hunger partnerships in your area of intervention;
– Train and manage your team (recruitment, skills development, evaluation, leadership);
– Contribute to capitalization and technical development in SMSP;
– Guarantee and ensure the confidentiality of data collected during the mission’s PMSC activities;
– Ensure internal and external reporting according to the planned formats and deadlines, as well as the functionality of accountability mechanisms, the fight against fraud and against cases of SEA.
YOUR PROFILE
You hold a BAC + 5 degree in clinical psychology
You are a humanitarian professional and have at least 1 year of international experience, ideally with ACF or another NGO in an SMSP PR position, ideally in complicated security contexts.
Experience in team management and training would be appreciated.
You have demonstrated training skills and are keen to increase the skills and empower your teams.
You are recognized for your sense of diplomacy and your interpersonal skills, adaptation and rapid understanding.
You have good knowledge in humanitarian psychiatry.
You have good reporting and project budget management skills.
Knowledge of commitment to ACF intervention objectives and principles and standard documents would be an advantage.
YOUR CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
25 days per year of CP and 20 RnR per year; payment of the ticket with ceiling to go to the chosen break zone, and 215EUR fixed compensation by RnRAccompaniment and training
