MISSION
The Program Coordinator will be responsible for the execution of the program in Camps for the Sahrawi refugee population. The position holder will be responsible for proposal development, monitoring and reporting and quality improvement, in line with Doctors of the World (MdM) and donor standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate the project cycle of the assigned programs, developing the identification, formulation, monitoring, learning and evaluation actions required by the internal processes, standards and regulations and/or the financing entities.
- Plan and lead the preparation of project reports (internal and external) ensuring the quality of the information and the formats, necessary annexes, for each donor and established standards.
- Lead and coordinate internal and external formulations and reports, according to the regulations of Médicos del Mundo and the financing entities.
- Participate in the formulation of project budgets, in coordination with the Country Administration.
- Establish mechanisms that allow the reorientation and improvement of projects, accompanying and advising the teams for their proper implementation.
- Apply the internal procedures of Médicos del Mundo to ensure the proper development and management of the project cycle.
- Provide reports to the coordination team on the evolution of the program and propose corrections if necessary.
- Coordinate with the financial department to ensure the correct budget execution of the projects, ensuring, in coordination with the Country Administration, the correct allocation of expenses and financial programming. Alert in case of deviation and propose corrections if necessary.
- Plan and supervise the work of your team to ensure compliance with the department’s annual objectives.
- Promote activity planning tools for each project.
- Support the relevant coordinations in the processes of selecting people and volunteering and contracting services, in accordance with the needs of the program and the requirements of the funders and standards of the organization.
- Manage, supervise and ensure the development of the talent of your work teams.
- Establish an appropriate monitoring, evaluations, accountability and learning (MEAL) system and ensure its proper functioning.
- Promote feedback and accountability mechanisms.
- Ensure the secure storage of project technical information (indicators and verification sources).
- Support the Country Coordination in representation and dialogue tasks with financing entities.
TRAINING
Academic Qualification: University education. Specialized training in International Cooperation and/or Humanitarian Aid, Public Health, Gender, Human Rights, Environment and related areas is desirable.
Additional Training: Logical framework approach, project cycle management and theory of change.
REQUIREMENTS
Languages: Spanish C1, English B2. Valuable French and Arabic.
IT: Microsoft Office 365 Package.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in similar positions. Three years or more desirable.
Experience in project management in third sector organizations.
Experience in team management.
