We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Medical Doctor
Location:Â Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Duty Shift: 48 hours on duty, followed by 4 days off.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and administer appropriate medical treatment for a variety of illnesses and injuries.
- Prescribe, administer, and dispense medications in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Ensure optimal patient care following clinical guidelines and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and transactions as per company policies.
- Conduct inpatient and outpatient reviews, initiating assessments and management plans.
- Supervise Medical Assistants to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Participate in clinical audits and other quality assurance initiatives.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Manage emergency situations promptly and efficiently.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training programs.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior medical staff.
Requirements
- M.B.B.S degree.
- Valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
- Proficiency in computer usage.
- NYSC discharge Certificate or Exemption letter.
- Familiarity with Healthcare Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving and clinical decision-making abilities.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum of 2 years post NYSC experience in medical practice.
- Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations.
- Strong ethical standards and integrity.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
