We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Medical Doctor

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Duty Shift: 48 hours on duty, followed by 4 days off.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and administer appropriate medical treatment for a variety of illnesses and injuries.
  • Prescribe, administer, and dispense medications in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure optimal patient care following clinical guidelines and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and transactions as per company policies.
  • Conduct inpatient and outpatient reviews, initiating assessments and management plans.
  • Supervise Medical Assistants to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Participate in clinical audits and other quality assurance initiatives.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Manage emergency situations promptly and efficiently.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and training programs.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior medical staff.

Requirements

  • M.B.B.S degree.
  • Valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
  • Proficiency in computer usage.
  • NYSC discharge Certificate or Exemption letter.
  • Familiarity with Healthcare Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving and clinical decision-making abilities.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum of 2 years post NYSC experience in medical practice.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations.
  • Strong ethical standards and integrity.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
