Federal University of Environment and Technology, Koroma / Sakpenwa was established as a Federal university in Koroma/Sakpenwa, Tai Local Government Area, in the Ogoni region of Rivers State. Its creation is rooted in long-standing calls for an institution dedicated to environmental restoration and sustainable development in the Niger Delta / Ogoniland — a region deeply affected by environmental degradation. The university’s motto is “Advancing Knowledge, Conserving Nature.” FUET aims to be a “centre of excellence” focused on environmental sustainability, technological innovation, and responding to environmental challenges through research and education.

Requirements
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS/MBBCh) or Doctor of Medicine (MD) from a recognized institution.
- Essential requirements include full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) or equivalent, a current practicing license, and completion of mandatory national service (NYSC), complemented by a minimum of Three (3) years of post-registration clinical experience.
- Computer literacy is essential.
- Postgraduate diplomas or certifications in specialized medical fields would be an added advantage.
