Job Title: Consultant Pediatric Nephrologist

About the job
- We need a Pediatric Nephrologist who will provide specialist care for infants, children, and adolescents with kidney and urinary tract disorders.
- The role involves diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of pediatric renal diseases, including acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, nephrotic syndrome, congenital anomalies, and electrolyte disorders.
- The Specialist will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based care.
Qualifications
- MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Residency in Pediatrics (FWACP Paediatrics / FMCP Paediatrics or equivalent).
- Subspecialty Fellowship training in Pediatric Nephrology from an accredited center.
- Valid and up-to-date medical license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification is an added advantage.
- Proven experience managing both acute and chronic pediatric renal diseases.
- Experience in pediatric dialysis, renal biopsies, and transplant evaluation
- Expertise in diagnosing and managing kidney diseases in infants, children, and adolescents.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong commitment to compassionate, child-centered care.
