CONTEXT
An Ebola epidemic, caused by the Bundibugyo virus, was declared on Monday May 18 in Ituri province (DRC). Since then, the situation has evolved rapidly and is spreading to surrounding areas. MSF Switzerland has launched an emergency response to support health authorities and affected communities.
Given the evolution of the situation, this response is likely to be long-term. MSF is therefore preparing for a prolonged intervention, with several deployment phases.
In this context, MSF Switzerland is launching a call for applications in order to anticipate the human resources needs for the Ebola response.
Deployment will be done according to the usual recruitment, matching and validation processes. Prior approval from your line manager, or an exchange with your Development Advisor/Career Manager, will be necessary before any mobilization.
In order to guarantee operational safety and compliance with MSF standards, all staff must adhere to the MSF Switzerland Code of Conduct, as well as specific procedures related to Ebola interventions.
