Job Title: Care Worker (Mental Health Rehabilitation)
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Job Summary
- We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Care Worker to join our mental health rehabilitation team in Lekki.
- The successful candidate will work closely with nurses and clinicians to provide safe, empathetic, and attentive care to patients using our mental health services.
Key Responsibilities
- Support nurses and clinicians in the safe delivery of patient care
- Assist in providing personal care (bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming) under nursing guidance
- Welcome new patients and help them settle into a friendly, supportive environment
- Ensure patient safety at all times, both within the facility and during external activities
- Support patients during therapeutic and recreational activities
- Assist with de-escalation and safe management of aggressive or distressed patients when necessary
- Supervise cleaning and upkeep of patient rooms and shared spaces
- Accurately and promptly complete observation charts and handover documentation
- Monitor and report facility maintenance needs (electrical appliances, damages, repairs)
- Carry out other duties as assigned by nurses or clinicians
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in care work, healthcare support, or a related field (mental health experience an advantage)
- Compassionate, patient, and able to remain calm under pressure
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to work shifts.
Salary
N70,000 – N80,000 monthly.
