YOUR POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your main responsibility will be to provide technical support in health and nutrition as part of the ACF response to the emergency in Sila province.
More precisely, you will be in charge of:
– Providing technical support (plan, implement, monitor and evaluate) to the implementation of Health and Nutrition programs by analyzing the needs of the area, formulating project proposals, guaranteeing the application of minimum medical and nutritional packages, by supervising the quality of care for beneficiaries, by participating in the establishment and monitoring of the data collection system on the management of malnutrition or by participating in the implementation of nutritional surveys.
– Participate in the training and skills development of the ACF teams in your part of the program by identifying training needs, by leading modules or by participating in the team recruitment processes in your part of the program.
– Supervise and manage the program team via bi-annual evaluations, team meetings and individual points, appraisal interviews with your team members, or by managing difficulties within your team and providing them with support on daily technical questions.
– Continue the process of integrating UNTs into pediatric structures.
– Participate in coordination and representation activities by participating in the malnutrition management strategy adapted to the local context, by identifying / proposing new programs, by contributing to the drafting of projects or by regularly sharing your information with the other RPs as part of the integrated response approach.
– Represent ACF and develop local partnerships while respecting ACF principles and being responsible for the technical image of the organization across your area of ​​intervention.
YOUR PROFILE
You have a master’s degree in public health or equivalent, or a nursing/doctor diploma with at least 5 years of professional experience (PCIMA, PCIME and DSSR) in the humanitarian field in an INGO.
You have at least 3 years’ experience as a Health/Nutrition Project or Program Manager in emergency contexts, including technical support and team management.
You have proven professional experience in managing health and nutritional emergencies, capacity building and in collaboration with other NGOs, state partners and community organizations.
You are comfortable with the idea of ​​intervening in volatile security contexts.
