YOUR JOB AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the management of the Country Director and the Deputy Country Director Programs, you will be in charge of representing the consortium with external partners, in conjunction with the Country Directors of the organizations of the consortium, the representation with the clusters of the ICC, the EHP or donors within the framework of the multisectoral emergency response project for populations made vulnerable by recurrent crises in the Provinces of Lake Chad, Kanem and Bahr-el-Ghazal, funded by ECHO and BHA.
More specifically, your role will be to:
– Participate in humanitarian monitoring and carry out assessments
– Ensure the implementation, monitoring and reporting of RRM activities
– Participate in WASH sub-cluster meetings in the area of ​​intervention
– Contribute to the Quality and Accountability process and to the impact measurement of its program
YOUR PROFILE
With a Master’s degree in public health, EHA, Sanitary Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, sociology or any equivalent diploma, you have at least 3 years of professional experience in the management of projects, emergency programs in the field of planning, implementation and monitoring – evaluation of WASH / or NFI programs in crisis contexts.
You have a great aptitude for working in a multicultural and multidisciplinary team and a capacity as a facilitator as well as a pedagogical aptitude for the transfer of skills. You have at least one successful experience in emergency response in humanitarian crisis situations and specifically IDP crises, internationally as well as a good knowledge of the Project cycle and ECHO and BHA cooperation policies. Professional experience in the Sahelian zone will be an additional asset
YOUR CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
– 1 month of contract under French (international candidates) or Chadian (national candidates) legislation
