Evercare Hospital – Purpose built as a state of the art private hospital, Evercare Hospital Lekki is a 165 bed hospital, that offers a range of care across a range of specialty medical services. Equipped with Operating Theatres, Dialysis chairs, Emergency Department beds, a Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory, Intensive Care Unit, as well as fully equipped birthing suites.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Audiologist

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Objectives

• The role is responsible provision of primary diagnose, manage, and treat a patient’s hearing, balance, or related ear problems

Main Tasks

• Examine patients whhave hearing, balance, or related ear problems
• Assess the results of the examination and diagnose problems
• Determine and administer treatment tmeet patients’ goals
• Provide treatment for tinnitus, a condition that causes ringing in the ear
• Fit and dispense hearing aids
• Counsel patients and their families on ways tlisten and communicate, such as lip reading or through technology
• Evaluate patients regularly tcheck on hearing and balance and tcontinue or change treatment plans
• Record patient progress
• Research the causes and treatment of hearing and balance disorders
• Educate patients on ways tprevent hearing loss
• Relationship Management & Other Tasks
• Relate with other clinical & administrative staff tensure patients receive quality care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Membership of hospital committees as per the needs of the Hospital.
• Carry out other tasks for which your qualifications & experience are suited and as may be assigned.

Job Requirements
Education & Experience:

• A Degree in Audiology
• Up to 4 years post qualification experience and practice
• Valid practice license.
