The Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti, is a Federal Government-owned, foremost, cutting-edge, primary, secondary and tertiary health service provider and clinical training institution in Nigeria. The hospital, which is one of the fastest growing teaching hospitals in the country, was established in 1998 by the Federal Government to provide affordable, qualitative and accessible medicare to every state of the federation, particularly to the people living in the grassroots of Ekiti State and its environment. At inception in 1999, the Hospital had six departments and currently has twenty-two clinical and four nonclinical departments.

Requirements

• Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education (with specialization in Audiology / Speech Therapy) / Bachelor’s Degree in Audiology / Speech Therapy or Master’s Degree in Audiology/Speech Therapy.
• Full registration with the Medical Rehabilitation Therapy Board (MRTB).
• Full registration with the Speech and Audiology Association in Nigeria (SPAN).
• NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption.
• Candidates must possess West African Examination Certificate/Senior School
• Certificate at least five (5) credits including English and Mathematics (1) one sitting
