Job Title: Consultant Anesthesiologist (In-house)

Job Summary
- This role entails providing and administering anesthesia following approved guidelines and managing patients in the theatre.
- As an In-house Consultant Anesthesiologist, you will be a permanent, full-time member of our team and fully integrated into our operations
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver exceptional anesthesia care
- Develop and implement quality assurance programs
- Provide expert mentorship and education to junior staff
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient care
- Stay up-to-date with latest medical advancements and technologies
- Manage departmental operations and resources effectively
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making
- Ensure accurate and comprehensive medical records and reporting
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess MBBS qualifications with 3+ years experience.
- Must have a license to practice medicine from the Nigerian Medical and Dental Association
- Excellent knowledge of Clinical Surgery and other specialist areas of medical practice such as Pediatrics, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Must show evidence of competence in management of anesthesia cases and evidence of active participation in relevant research
- Familiarity with cultural and religious concerns of patients, and current legislation on patient rights
- Must have good communication skills, a strong ability to work well under extreme pressure, self-discipline and excellent long-term concentration
- Must portray a caring and professional manner in all aspects of work.
