Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled and patient-centred Consultant Family Physician to join our clinical team.
- The successful candidate will provide comprehensive, continuous care to individuals and families across all age groups, while supporting high standards of clinical governance and service delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality primary and preventive care, including diagnosis, treatment, health promotion, and chronic disease management.
- Conduct consultations for acute and long-term conditions and coordinate appropriate referrals.
- Lead multidisciplinary care planning and collaborate with nursing, specialist, and allied health teams.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical records in line with professional and organisational requirements.
- Support clinical audits, quality-improvement initiatives, teaching, and mentoring where required.
- Uphold patient safety, confidentiality, ethical practice, and relevant regulatory standards.
Essential requirements
- Medical Degree (MBBS/MBChB or equivalent) and full registration with the relevant medical regulatory body.
- Recognised postgraduate qualification in Family Medicine/General Practice.
- Consultant-level experience in family medicine or primary care.
- Strong clinical judgement, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based, patient-centred care.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
