Project Brief
The initiative aims to enhance knowledge dissemination and communication strategies for trade and supply chain finance. It focuses on promoting sustainability, digital standards, anti-money laundering measures, gender inclusion, and development impact through strategic marketing, digital content, and event support.
Key Activities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a 12-month communications and marketing plan.
- Content Development: Create and distribute digital and print materials, including reports, press releases, and social media content.
- Event Marketing & Support: Design marketing collateral for global, regional, and country-level events, and coordinate logistics.
- Multimedia Production: Develop videos, animations, infographics, and podcasts for knowledge dissemination.
- Social Media & Engagement: Strengthen outreach strategies, with a focus on LinkedIn.
- Project Management & Reporting: Track and analyze campaign performance, prepare reports, and ensure timely content delivery.
Scope of Work
The Event Strategist / Specialist is expected to deliver the following activities in support of the team:
- Responsible for creating event awareness framework and own the calendar of activities.
- Showcase good networks within the Asian region – event suppliers, logistics, curators and experts.
- Conduct regular research within the Trade and Finance sector to identify relevant 3rd party events and conferences.
- Strategizing and development on on-line events such as webinars, seminars and workshops.
- In-charge of all the on-line event logistics to ensure successful hosting and facilitation of the events.
- Work with creatives to refine and develop event collaterals – knowledge and marketing material.
- Lead the planning of on-line webinars, regional workshops and seminars (technical and logistical planning)
- Execute all the stages within pre, and post event marketing.
- Ensure development of event marketable material before the event and post-event marketing assets such as videos, reports and summary.
Qualifications/ Requirements
Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Event Management, or related field
Language:Â English
Professional experience:
- At least 7 years of experience in event strategy, marketing, or communications within the Trade and Finance sector.
- Proven track record in planning and executing online and offline events, particularly webinars, workshops, and regional conferences.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, email marketing).
- Familiarity with the Asian regional context and network of event vendors, suppliers, and partners.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Proficiency in content development and marketing collateral production.
Preferred Criteria:
- Worked in the development development sector and in the Asia region will be prioritized.
