SCOPE OF WORK
This position aims to assist the Health Program Coordinator to ensure the continuous development of the health program, in addition to ensuring the proper implementation of activities and projects with the required quality to achieve the satisfaction of internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Support the development of needs assessments and proposals, including logical frameworks, budgets, and work plans, in coordination with the program development team.
- Ensure project implementation aligns with organizational policies, procedures, and workplans.
- Represent the organization in internal and external meetings, including sectoral working groups, partner consultations, and donor discussions.
- Contribute to the organization’s strategic plan by providing health program-related insights, objectives, and recommendations.
- Assist in developing and updating periodic work plans of health program in coordination with program teams and relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in reviewing and updating protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and tools to ensure alignment with quality standards and enhance the delivery of health services.
- Support the design and implementation of training plans and capacity-building initiatives.
- Assist in evaluating the impact of training programs on staff performance and service delivery.
- Assist in maintaining organizational readiness for emergency health responses, including personnel, equipment, and supplies.
- Follow implementing program activities, projects, and emergency responses as required.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate the progress of project activities, identifying corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare narrative reports on program activities and project performance, sharing them with internal and external stakeholders as appropriate.
- Assist in preparing and monitoring program budgets to ensure alignment with approved plans and donor requirements.
- Oversee the implementation of procurement and financial requests related to the program’s projects.
- Oversee proper archiving and documentation of program activities, ensuring timely and accurate record-keeping.
Note:Â the above-mentioned responsibilities are illustrative ones. Another future responsibilities/accountability may be assigned to the job depending on the department’s organizational chart or title.
Qualification (Education/Work Experience)
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in medicine, pharmacy, or dentistry.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in management of health projects.
- Arabic language is mother tongue and advanced level in English.
Desirable:
- Master’s degree in a medical or health-related field.
