Area of activity
PANORAMA – Solutions for a Healthy Planet is an international partnership initiative to promote the sharing and scaling of proven solutions for sustainable development. The platform combines local practice with global strategies such as the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. GIZ manages PANORAMA together with IUCN, UNDP and others
Partners and supports knowledge transfer in thematic communities. The BMUV supports the initiative through the PANORAMA support project. The internship position is located and supported in the Climate, Rural Development and Infrastructure Department
the implementation of the support project, with the aim of further developing PANORAMA as a key knowledge management and control tool.
Your tasks
- To ensure and further develop the quality assurance of PANORAMA case studies through the implementation of established mechanisms, processes and guidelines
- Helping to shape PANORAMA’s strategic development through support in business planning and
Development of long-term sustainability strategies - Preparation and co-coordination of the PANORAMA presence at international events (e.g. B. CBD & UNFCCC COPs, IUCN World Conservation Congress) as well as on intranet platforms
- Analysis and preparation of findings from PANORAMA solutions for deriving practice-oriented guidelines and recommendations for action
- Participation in innovative learning formats, including writing workshops, knowledge management workshops with partner countries and webinars
- Accompanying impact monitoring, including the systematic collection, analysis and reporting of relevant performance indicators
- Preparation, preparation and structuring of operational and financial reports
- Proactive support for other project-related tasks and processes as required
Your profile
- Ongoing or recently completed studies in agroecology, sustainability management, innovation management, environmental management, natural resources conservation and management, or a relevant field
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in German and English, with the ability to prepare complex content in an understandable way
- Initial experience in analyzing, preparing and visualizing data as well as in creating precise reports
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working, combined with strong organizational skills and teamwork
Desirable criteria:
- Experience in knowledge management, in organizing events or in international cooperation, ideally with partner organizations from science, politics or practice
- Knowledge of international biodiversity, climate or agricultural policies (for. B. CBD, UNFCCC, SDGs) and an understanding of global sustainability processes
- Initial practical experience in project development, project management and/or strategic business planning and fundraising (fundraising)
- Experience with monitoring and evaluation processes, including the analysis and interpretation of performance indicators for impact assessment
