Christian Miracle Hospital is an NHIS-accredited fibroid, ovarian cyst, appendicitis and maternity hospital in Nigeria; established in 1992. We are located at No. 3 Akutu Crescent office Pascan Jake bus stop opposite Pine Crest School Enugu,Independence Layout Enugu state. We offer the best gynaecological, fertility and maternity services to our clients and patients. Our in-house laboratory is quality assured, and our dispensary stocks quality drugs and other medical consumables. We run antenatal clinics and fertility clinics every Tuesday.

Christian Miracle hospital is a private maternity, Obstetrics and Gynecology hospital, providing obstetrics and gynaecology treatment options and surgeries for women as well as birthing/baby delivery and caesarean section; including surgery cases that may not be gynaecology-related, like internal intestinal obstruction, hernia, appendectomy, etc.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Medical Doctor 

Location: Enugu

Job Purpose

  • We would expect our doctor to “catch babies”, do caesarean operations for patients who require it, routine clinical ward rounds for our maternity patients, obs/gynae surgery patients and other general/family medicine patients.
  • Under the supervision of the Medical Director, the Medical Doctor will be responsible for providing professional medical care to patients/beneficiaries, ensuring quality clinical case management in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • The role involves applying medical expertise, supporting health facilities and clinic activities, strengthening referral systems, and contributing to improved health outcomes of the target population in line with global standards, best practices and protocols.

Responsibilties

  • Responding to patients’ medical problems by referring to their history, carrying out diagnosis, treatment, counseling, and referral, where necessary.
  • Ordering lab tests and interpreting the test results.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and impartiality at all times.
  • Collecting, recording, and maintaining sensitive patient information such as examination results, medical history, and reports.
  • Catch babies, performoperations for patients whorequire it, routine clinical ward rounds
  • Explaining procedures or prescribed treatments to patients.
  • Liaising with medical professionals in the community and hospitals.
  • Promoting health education in conjunction with other health professionals.
  • Meeting targets set by the hospital forpatient satisfaction.
  • Discussing and evaluating new pharmaceutical products with pharmaceutical representatives.
  • Keeping up-to-date with medical developments, treatment, and medication.
  • Observing and assessing the work of trainee doctors, nurses and medical students.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with Obstetrics and Gynae surgical skills
