Role Overview
- The Medical Officer will provide comprehensive clinical care, support preventive health initiatives, and contribute to the hospital’s mission of delivering high‑quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine patient examinations and health assessments.
- Diagnose and manage a variety of medical conditions and injuries.
- Prescribe medications with clear instructions for safe use.
- Perform minor surgical and clinical procedures when required.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records.
- Provide health education and lifestyle counselling to patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Stay informed on current medical practices and participate in professional development.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- MBBS Degree with full registration and certification by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Current practicing license.
- Minimum of 1 year post‑NYSC clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision‑making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to patient safety and continuous improvement.
