About the Role
- We are seeking a dedicated Medical Officer (Oncology) with a strong focus on quality assurance, clinical protocol development, and multidisciplinary collaboration. The role involves supporting oncology services to ensure optimal patient outcomes through evidence-based care, clinical audits, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Contouring target volumes and organs for radiotherapy treatment.
- Ensure accurate CT simulations for treatment planning.
- Conduct follow-up consultations for radiotherapy patients.
- Assist Clinical Oncologists in patient treatment and procedures.
- Review diagnostic reports and support clinical management plans.
- Counsel patients on treatment plans, side effects, lifestyle, and diet.
- Participate in tumor boards, clinical audits, and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and infection control standards.
- Contribute to protocol development, training, research, and educational activities.
- Collaborate with operations and other teams to enhance patient experience.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- MD or DO from a recognized medical institution with 3–5 years of experience in oncology.
- Strong understanding of oncology protocols and quality standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
