Focus on our activities in the DRC
Our mission in the DRC has existed since 2001. PUI is developing its integrated approach there with projects in primary health and the fight against malnutrition. PUI intervenes in Ituri with health nutrition projects, and in North Kivu through an integrated approach in emergency health nutrition supplemented by food security activities.
And the Multi-sectoral Emergency Project Manager in all this?
As Multisector Project Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation of all project activities and you will manage the association’s human and financial resources dedicated to project activities.
To this end, your responsibilities will be as follows:
Programmes: You will ensure the qualitative implementation and monitoring of the programme(s) in compliance with the policy and intervention framework of Première Urgence Internationale and the agreement signed with the donor.
Human Resources: You will supervise and support the team implementing the activities, participate in recruitment and identify training needs.
Donor reporting: You will write and coordinate the drafting of the final reports to come on the base.
Logistics and Administration: You will ensure compliance with the logistical and administrative procedures of the activity(ies) under your responsibility.
Representation: You will represent the association with partners, authorities and local actors involved in the implementation of programs.
Security: You will contribute to compliance with security rules on the base and will transmit all security information to your line manager.
Strategy: You will contribute to the development of new interventions based on identified needs.
The challenges that await you:
– Monitoring of the implementation of ongoing health-nutrition-protection interventions in the sites around Goma. – Initiation of future shock-related interventions. – Synergy with the technical department of Coordination (medical, nutrition, protection, MEAL etc.) in order to guarantee the quality of the activities implemented – Participation in Coordination forums in order to strengthen operational synergy with other humanitarian actors.
What it will take to succeed
Formation
You can justify a higher degree (Master 2 or equivalent) in Health, Social Sciences or Project Management.
Experience
You have one year of experience in the humanitarian sector and you have experience in project management. Experience in monitoring/evaluation as well as in health will be highly appreciated. Have you ever worked with Première Urgence Internationale? This will be an undeniable asset!
SKILLS
You master project management and know the procedures of institutional donors. More specific knowledge of Europaid procedures will be appreciated. Knowledge of database management software (Access) and/or Gantt Project will be appreciated.
Required qualities
You know how to work independently, show initiative and you have a sense of responsibility. You are a diplomat and have a sense of negotiation. You demonstrate organization, rigor and respect for deadlines. You have a good resistance to stress and have a sense of priorities.
LANGUAGES

Gross monthly salary: 2,190.00 – 2,420.00 EUR depending on your experience in international solidarity + €50 per semester of seniority with PUI

Break scheme: 5 working days at 3 and 9 months of assignment + break bonus
