Job Title: Nursing Manager
Location:Â Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide nurses in providing quality patient care to ensure patient satisfaction.
- Evaluate patient care activities and recommend improvements.
- Review nursing team to determine strengths and weaknesses and suggest training needs.
- Ensure that antenatal classes are conducted to required standards.
- Actively involved in weekly clinical meetings and presenting at meetings with Doctor(s).
- Works with the Quality Assurance Officer to ensure processes are followed judiciously.
- Ensure seamless patient discharge process without delay.
- Ensure patient waiting times are reduced with prompt responsiveness.
- Plan and schedule Monthly ROTAs and daily work for nursing staff.
- Supervise and monitor performance of each nurse and provide feedback.
- Assist in candidate recruiting, training, performance evaluation, promotion, and termination activities.
- Schedule orientation and training programs for newly hired nurses.
- Ensure general patient care and satisfaction.
