Job Summary
- The Nursing Officer provides high-quality care to patients in the form of treatments and dispensing medications as directed by the physician.
- The job holder also assists in setting up care plan for the patients, administering drugs, taking and monitoring vital signs and changing dressings.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily nursing operations and coordinate patient care activities.
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain high-quality standards.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate patient care plans, ensuring their effectiveness and making necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Handle patient concerns and complaints effectively, striving to resolve issues promptly.
The Person
- Must be a registered nurse.
- Current practicing license.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Must reside in Ughelli & it’s environs.
Remuneration
Salary in line with industry standard.
