GIZ International Services is seeking experts for a World Bank opportunity in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

• Have basic training level as an occupational physician or expert in public health, or any other similar field and have additional training in HSE
• Have at least seven (07) years of experience in the specific field of environmental, social, health and safety management
• Demonstrate knowledge of the regulations in force in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Environmental and Social Framework of the World Bank
• Have exercised HSE functions in carrying out road development and road rehabilitation projects over the last five (05) years
• Have participated in or supervised the completion of at least three (03) projects
• Justify the completion of at least one project safety audit or environmental audits
• Mastery of the French language (read, write and speak fluently)
• Representative field experience
• Significant experience in developing countries

The project is implemented in the three provinces of Kasaï Oriental, Lomami and North Kivu.

The planned start date is October 1, 2024, and the contract execution period will be 32 months from this date.
