Who we are?

IDA is an international independent non-governmental organization providing medical and humanitarian assistance to people affected by conflicts, natural disasters and epidemics regardless of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.
IDA was founded in 2012 by Syrian doctors from Aleppo in response to the healthcare and humanitarian crisis in Syria.

IDA Syria is the main healthcare provider in the Northern Aleppo/Syria area, working closely with 500,000 IDPs and 700,000 host communities through 20 healthcare facilities and other health and nutrition projects

During last year, IDA has provided 1.2 million services in Heath, Nutrition, WaSH and Camp Management

Specific Responsibilities:

• Dispensing prescriptions to patients according to the approved procedures and policies
  • Keeping the pharmacy safe and clean by complying with the approved procedures and rules
  • Helping the pharmacist to prepare weekly and monthly reports
  • Daily update of drug movement records, stock card and bank card
  • Ensure that medicines are available in the pharmacy and send requests on time to avoid the occurrence of depletion
  • Conducting a manual inventory of the pharmacy every 3 months or upon request
  • Updating the hospital’s medical staff with the new received medicines and available alternative medicines
  • Record observations and requests from the departments and share them with the supervisor.
  • Keep records and prescriptions and archive them well
  • Ensure that there are no expired drugs in the pharmacy .. and report on drugs that are close to expiration according to the established policy
  • Update daily records of temperature, humidity, and refrigerator temperature
  • Paying attention to refrigerated and narcotic drugs and dispensing them according to the approved procedures
  • Commitment to work within the framework of the Code of Conduct and the rules of procedure. and policies to prevent sexual exploitation and abuse and safeguard the child.

Qualifications:

Context/Specific skills, knowledge, and experience:

• Certificate of pharmacy or pharmacist assistant
  • At least 3 years of experience working in pharmacies
  • Experience in working in hospitals and medical consumables
  • Work under pressure
  • Very good experience in computer programs (Microsoft-internet )
  • Good experience work on pharmaceutical applications
