WHO EMRO uses public health intelligence tools to support the early detection and assessment of potential public health events. This online assignment supports routine screening of information available through the EIOS platform and contributes to the preparation of information for daily triage discussions. The assignment supports WHO’s mission to protect health and promote well-being and contributes to SDG 3.Task Description
- Review the EIOS EMRO Board daily and identify potentially relevant public health signals.
- Prepare concise summaries of retained signals and record them in the designated tracking tool.
- Attend the daily virtual triage meeting and document decisions and follow-up actions.
- Escalate urgent signals through agreed communication channels.
- Maintain accurate and timely records throughout the assignment. Deliverable: A complete and quality-checked log of screened signals, summaries, triage decisions, and follow-up actions submitted electronically at the end of the assignment.
