About the Chain of Hope
The Chain of Hope is an international NGO founded in 1994. Its aim is to strengthen health systems to give everyone and in particular children the same chances of survival and development.
We operate in 25 countries through a global approach, centered on the child but also on mothers and disadvantaged communities:
- Prevention and screening from an early age, particularly within the framework of school health programs.
- Care and surgery, to meet the most urgent needs of children and their mothers.
- Training and skills transfer to local teams thanks to our international network of experts in all areas of surgery.
- Construction and equipment of hospital structures adapted to local needs.
Mission objectives
The missions of the Regional Branch Manager consist of developing, structuring and leading the voluntary network of regional branches of La Chaîne de l’Espoir in order to strengthen its territorial roots.
He is under the responsibility of the Director of Development and Communication.
Structure and lead the volunteer network
- Recruit volunteers to strengthen existing branches according to different missions (mobilization, collection, communication) and to create new branches in uncovered areas
- Lead this network, train teams and promote the exchange of best practices
- Implement network management and animation tools
- Ensure coordination between teams of employees and volunteers
- Participate in the design and animation of regional and national events (Antenna Forum)
Develop field collection
- Identify and mobilize local stakeholders (associations, schools, service clubs, municipalities, businesses) to organize events for the benefit of La Chaîne de l’Espoir
- Support volunteers in their prospecting and partnership efforts.
- Contribute to the implementation of collection or awareness-raising actions in the territories.
- Capitalize on successful experiences
Communication
- Contribute to the dissemination of La Chaîne de l’Espoir’s actions regionally
- Promote local initiatives in conjunction with Headquarters teams
- Contribute to the production of content or testimonials illustrating volunteer commitment
Financial and administrative management
- Maintain the volunteer database up to date
- Plan and manage the annual budget
- Follow up on volunteer reimbursement requests
- Compile and update statistics relating to volunteer activities
PROFILE SOUGHT
Training/Experiences
- Bac + 2 training in marketing/communication and/or association management
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in commercial and/or network management functions
Skills and abilities
- Good knowledge of the environment and culture of associations, particular interest in international solidarity and NGOs
- Know how to supervise a team of volunteers (inform, assist, lead) and manage projects
- Ability to develop excellent interpersonal relationships
- Adaptation and autonomy skills
- Appetite for teamwork
- Sense of organization and priority management
- Open-mindedness, curiosity, empathy and respect for others
- Ease of speaking in public
Conditions:
- Executive status – 18-month fixed-term contract
- Desired start date: November 2, 2026
- Mutual insurance covered at 80%
- Reimbursement of transport subscription up to 50% or sustainable mobility allowance (bicycle) of 45 euros/month
