Present in Burkina-Faso since 2010, MdM-F has developed several projects in the field of the fight against malnutrition, primary health care, medical care for Malian refugees, prevention of the threat of the Ebola epidemic and a sexual and reproductive health (SRH) project focused on unwanted pregnancies in the Sahel.
In the Baskuy Health District in Ouagadougou, MdM-F is implementing the RESPECT project for the sexual and reproductive health rights of adolescents and young people and is continuing phase 2 of the project to reduce morbidity and mortality due to cancer of the cervix (CCU).
In the Kongoussi health district, North Central region, MdM-F is implementing the project called “right, access to health North-Burkina-Faso” and another emergency response project for access to health services quality of people affected by the humanitarian and security crisis.
In the Hauts-Bassins, MdM is launching a project to strengthen the health system and access to primary health care from November 2023. This project will initially take place in the municipalities of Dandé and Houndé. MdM will be in consortium with Help and the Burkinabè Red Cross.
JOB DESCRIPTION :
Under the responsibility of the general coordinator, you supervise and coordinate the implementation of all activities on the Bobo Dioulasso site and in the Hauts Bassins.
You represent MdM in the Bobo Dioulasso area. You are the security guarantor and manage the entire Hauts Bassins team. You work in close collaboration with the health, technical, logistics, financial and human resources coordinators in the capital.
Your main responsibilities are:
Representation
- Represent MdM to local authorities, NGO actors and various armed forces
- Represent MdM during visits from technical and financial partners as well as during thematic workshops and conferences
- Participate in coordination meetings of stakeholders in the area
Supervision and operational implementation of activities
- Organize grassroots work
- Supervise and participate in the definition of base activities
- Actively contribute to strategic development
- Facilitate the planning process
- Monitor collaboration agreements between different partners
- Participate in various activities and ensure their quality of execution
- Ensure management tools and project indicators are updated

Security management
- Monitor the political, economic and thematic context

REQUIRED PROFILE :
Higher training in project management or generalist
Experience of at least three years in a similar position within an NGO
Experience in developing, leading and evaluating emergency health projects in countries and/or areas in crisis
Experience in opening and /or management of a base
Experience in security management in a volatile security context
