Specialized therapeutic support in clinical psychology – Cycle 1 At United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF)



Job Description

Online volunteers will perform the following specific task: Provide PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC SUPPORT in shifts (8-10 hours per week) at times assigned by their direct supervisor to the Bolivian community through a call center service. Selected individuals will undergo an extensive training process on care protocols, receipt of cases referred by Phase 1 care professionals, management and organization of the electronic agenda, and the modality of psychotherapeutic support. Likewise, it is important to mention that the support provided at a therapeutic level is provided to children, adolescents, young people, adults, and older adults who request this type of care, with special priority to children, adolescents, women in situations of violence, and vulnerable populations (LGBTQI+ population, migrants, etc.). Online volunteers will be accompanied and supervised by coordinators. It is important to participate in support workshops on mental health care and violence prevention, in different populations and/or sectors that UNICEF Bolivia will offer (doctors, police, child, adolescent and women protection system teams) (optional – recommended). To carry out this task you need to have: – A computer with a Windows 10 operating system or higher or a MAC computer with a Catalina operating system or higher. – 15 megabyte internet connection via network cable or 30 megabytes via WIFI. – Headphones with a microphone in good condition – A workspace free of interference (noise, noise, voices, etc.) Each online volunteer will support a specific task and we recommend entering the following link for more information about this Online Volunteering modality: https://www.unv.org/become-online-volunteer
