Many people living in rural, remote, and underserved communities continue to experience significant barriers in accessing essential healthcare services due to geographical isolation, shortages of healthcare professionals, weak health infrastructure, and financial limitations. To contribute to reducing these inequalities, the Centre international de formation en droits humains et développement durable (CIFDH/DD) is developing an innovative digital health platform that aims to connect patients, healthcare professionals, health facilities, pharmacies, laboratories, and community health workers through an integrated digital ecosystem. The platform will facilitate access to healthcare services by providing features such as teleconsultations, appointment scheduling, digital referrals, health education, home-based care coordination, secure communication, and other digital health services adapted to low-resource settings. The initiative is designed to improve continuity of care, strengthen primary healthcare, and promote Universal Health Coverage through affordable and scalable technology. The project is based on an integrated digital health ecosystem combining telehealth, coordinated care, digital referrals, and AI-supported health services. The contribution of Online Volunteers will play a key role in supporting the design, development, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement of the platform while ensuring that it remains user-friendly, inclusive, and adapted to the needs of vulnerable populations. This initiative contributes directly to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).Task Description
