JOB DESCRIPTION
The Multifunctional Landscapes team is looking to hire Agronomy/Soil Health intern. The intern will work with the team mainly in the Excellence in Agronomy initiative (EiA).
- Support extraction of data from published literature materials for soil health studies using infrared spectroscopy methods.
- Â Help organize extracted data by instrument type, soil property, number of samples used, modeling method, geographical location.
- Support any other activity related to the projects as required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Msc degree in Agricultural Sciences, Applied Statistics, Environmental Science, or related fields
- Knowledge of agriculture, statistical programming, and related environmental issues
- Experience with basic data analysis (e.g., with R or Python)
- Experience with basic soil analytical methods.
- Ability to work independently and within a team setting
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
