MdM’s operations in France will have 52 programs at 27 sites in 2023 throughout mainland France, Guyana and the Indian Ocean included (Reunion and Mayotte). Operations are implemented in the field thanks to the commitment of 1,309 active volunteers, supported by 130 employees in the field and in regional delegations and 10 employees in the France operations department in seat.

The safety and security department has been working since 2016 with several delegations on the capitalization of good practices in terms of risk and access management.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Under the responsibility of the head of the safety and security department, your mission is to provide support for the assessment of operational risks faced by the teams present on the France programs as well as to put in place mitigation measures. You support the delegations in capitalizing on good postures in the face of our different audiences and contexts.

More specifically, your responsibilities are as follows:

Monitoring of safety aspects of the DUERP

  • Develop the “safety” part of the DUERPs
  • Integrate the elements of the risk analysis tool into the DUERPs
  • Write, check the content, consistency, existence and monitoring of access/risk tools for France programs

Support for regional delegations and the France operational center

  • Monitor security risks in France
  • Contribute to the animation of “risks & postures” workshops
  • Develop recommendations during field visits
  • Assist in the implementation of “security” risk approaches
  • Support the delegations in the management of critical incidents and intervene if necessary
  • Assist in the writing and capitalization of incidents via SYRIL (dedicated internal platform)
  • Be the focal point for incident archiving
  • Realize the briefings of the regional coordinators (Explain the role of the security officer in France, the interactions, the management of safety / security, training at Syril and presentation of the tools among others)

Facilitation and implementation of training

  • Develop “access/risk” training
  • Support incident/crisis management
  • Co-facilitate the “Safety” session within our integration course “Welcome to Doctors of the World”
  • Train in the SYRIL platform and in the production of incident reports

Transversal

  • Develop/adapt risk-related documents (roles and responsibilities, briefing support, etc.)
  • Submit a capitalization report on the work carried out at the end of the year and an analysis of the incidents
  • Support the safety/security department manager in improving the SYRIL platform if necessary
  • Sharing good practices via the Médecins du Monde network

Equivalent 13th month paid in 2 instalments – from 6 months of seniority of effective work
Mutual (60% participation of MdM and 40% of the employee)

Experience on different programs in France (2 years minimum)
Training / Experience in safety / security management
DUERP knowledge strongly desired
Real interest in France programs and the public we support
Knowledge of the medico-social field
Adapt, listen, observe

Sense of confidentiality
Reassure, guide in the face of security-related incidents (minimal or critical)
Anticipate, alert and manage complex situations
Write and present, synthesize documents

Languages: French and English appreciated
