YOUR JOB AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of the Deputy Country Director for Programs and the SMPS GP referent based at headquarters, you will ensure the quality, relevance and scaling up of the Mental Health and Practice strategy and interventions of Care (SMPS) on the mission, in compliance with ACF and international standards and national policies.
More specifically, you will be responsible for:
– Contributing to the definition of the country strategy, and to the definition of the strategy and positioning of the SMPS technical department
– Coordinating the identification of needs and the formulation of project proposals.
– Support the implementation and ensure the reporting of programs / projects.
– Guarantee the quality and accountability of projects.
– Ensure the active participation of ACF in national sector coordination, technical platforms and develop sector partnerships.
– Support the teams placed under his functional supervision.
– Promote capitalization, development, technique and research within the SMPS department.
– Guarantee the confidentiality of data collected during SMPS activities.
YOUR PROFILE
You have a Master’s degree in clinical psychology or a Doctor of psychiatry, you have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar position in emergency contexts.
You are recognized for your project management abilities and your skills in team management and facilitation, as well as capacity building.
You have knowledge of cross-cultural psychology, humanitarian psychology, and child development psychology. You have good writing skills, a sense of planning, and know how to show rigor, and good communication.
You also have a good knowledge of SMPS indicators and monitoring and evaluation methodologies applicable to PMSC interventions, CBT, EMDR, PM+ protocols and the psychosocial and psychological management of SAM.
Proficiency in the Office pack, Kobo collect and oral and written French will be mandatory. In-depth knowledge of ACF’s SMPS intervention framework would be a real asset.
YOUR CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
– Fixed-term contract under French law: 12 months
– Gross monthly salary: from EUR 2,597 to EUR 2,968 depending on experience
– Pension insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary
– Specific allowance multi-country position: 15% of gross monthly salary
– Base salary increase: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract
– Per diem and monthly living expenses: 725EUR (cf eurocost) net, paid in the field
– Monthly context allowance : 300EUR
– Child allowance: 1500EUR per year and per child present in the country of origin (ceiling of 6000EUR/year)
– Transport and accommodation: Support for travel and collective accommodation
– Medical coverage: 100% of the payment of health contributions (CFE + complementary health) and repatriation insurance
– Salary maintenance schemes (sickness, maternity, paternity)
– Leave and RnR: 25 days per year of CP and 20 RnR per year ;Â payment of the ticket with ceiling to go to the chosen break zone, and 215EUR lump sum compensation per RnR
