YOUR POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the Field Coordinator, your objective will be to identify and implement relevant and innovative quality mental health and psychosocial support interventions, while respecting the SMSP strategy, the mandate of Action Against Hunger, international standards and national policies.
More specifically, you will:
– Provide analyzes on the strategy and positioning of the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support department in the Mweso region.
– Identify needs and contribute to the formulation of projects in the field of Mental Health and care practices.
– Ensure the implementation, monitoring and drafting of reports for PMSC projects.
– Contribute to quality and accountability processes, as well as to the evaluation of the impact of PMSC programs.
– Participate in coordination, representation and Action Against Hunger partnerships in its area of ​​intervention.
– Train and manage your team (recruitment, skills development, evaluation, leadership).
– Contribute to capitalization and technical development in your sector.
– Guarantee and ensure the confidentiality of data collected during the mission’s PMSC activities.

YOUR PROFILE

You hold a BAC + 5 diploma in clinical psychology;
You are a humanitarian professional and have international experience, ideally with ACF in a similar SMPS Project Manager position (at least 1 year of experience, ideally in conflict zones or in fragile contexts);
Experience in team management and training would be appreciated;
You have demonstrated training skills and are keen to increase the skills and empower your teams;
You are recognized for your sense of diplomacy and your interpersonal skills, adaptation and rapid understanding;
You have good knowledge in humanitarian psychiatry;
You have good reporting and project budget management skills;
Knowledge about commitment to the objectives and intervention principles of Action Against Hunger and standard documents.

YOUR CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Fixed-term contract under French law: 5 months
Gross monthly salary: from 2130 to 2475EUR depending on experience
Retirement insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens: 16% of gross monthly salary
Increase in base salary: 6% every 12 months of continuous contract
Per diem and monthly living expenses: $1,031 (see Eurocost) net, paid in the field
Monthly context allowance: 450EUR
Child allowance: 1,500EUR per year and per child present in the country of origin (ceiling of 6000EUR/year)
Transport and accommodation: Coverage for travel and collective accommodation
Medical Coverage: 100% of coverage for health contributions (CFE + supplementary health insurance) and repatriation insurance
Salary maintenance schemes (sickness, maternity, paternity)
Leave and RnR: 25 days per year of CP and 20 RnR per year; payment of the ticket with ceiling to go to the chosen break zone, and 215EUR fixed compensation per RnR
