Created in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights against world hunger. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has founded its identity for more than 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies linked to conflict and natural disasters. Action Against Hunger coordinates its programs around 5 areas of activity: Nutrition and Health – Mental Health, Psychosocial Support and Protection – Food Security and Livelihoods – Water, Sanitation and Hygiene – Advocacy. In 2021,www.actioncontrelafaim.org
YOUR POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the responsibility of the Food Security and Livelihoods technical referent, your missions will be as follows:
– Contribute to the reflection on the theme of Social Protection at ACF,
– Participate in the ACF Social Protection working group,
– Conduct a review of Social Protection systems in place in the target country(ies): modalities (notably financing), effectiveness, main implementation difficulties, sustainability, perception by the population, etc.), – Conduct a review of ACF interventions
which concern the provision of essential basic services (linked to social protection floors), in target areas: our modalities, link with national policies, –

YOUR PROFILE
With a master’s degree in public health, or a health economist, you have proven experience in carrying out qualitative and quantitative surveys in the health sector/health systems strengthening;
You have experience in evaluating social protection policies, strategies and systems;
You are able to integrate innovations and recommendations in ACF sectors into field practices;
You are able to identify obstacles to health quality in programs and propose avenues for improvement;
You are capable of integrating innovations and recommendations in nutrition and health into field practices;
You are able to communicate effectively orally;
You know how to be creative and/or proactive;
YOUR CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Status: Integrated manager – 3-month fixed-term contract – Full-time
Location: Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
Salary conditions:
– From 36K to 44KEUR gross annual over 13 months depending on experience
– 21 days of RTT
– Health coverage, welfare: Support 80% charge by ACF
– Transport: 50% of the package covered between home and the workplace
– Meal vouchers: 60% covered by the association for a value of 8EUR
Teleworking: Open to all ·te·s and from the metropolitan territory. no mandatory face-to-face days will be required for this position, apart from the 2 days per month on average for meetings and collective events
