Associate, Health Financing | Project Manager, Health Financing At The Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. (CHAI)

JOB DESCRIPTION

About CHAI

Founded in 2002 by President William J. Clinton, the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is a global health organization committed to strengthening health systems worldwide and expanding access to care and treatment against HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases. CHAI acts as a catalyst to mobilize new resources and optimize the impact of these resources on the ground in order to save lives, through better organization of the markets for medicines and other medical consumables and more effective local management. CHAI does not manage programs independent of national systems and does not set up parallel health systems. Instead, CHAI responds to the invitation of governments to support them on their priorities. We are focused on impact at scale and have secured price reduction agreements for various treatments in over 70 countries, including reducing the cost of viral load laboratory tests by 50% in South Africa . CHAI teams work with more than 30 governments to tackle major barriers to effective health care.

About the program

The government of Burkina Faso is committed to accelerating progress towards universal health coverage and adopting reform programs.
