Job Title: Director, Medical Services

Location: Oko, Anambra

Duties

• Taking overall charge of the medical Centre
• Coordinating the work and activities of Subordinate staff at the medical centre
• Responsible to the Rector for the smooth running of the medical centre
• Performing other duties as maybe assigned by the Rector.

Qualifications and Experience

• An MBBS from a recognized Institution and must be registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria with 18 years’ post qualification cognate experience or Post Graduate Fellowship of National or West African College in any specialization in Medicine and surgery with at least 15 years cognate experience.
• Candidate must be able to work under pressure and meet short deadlines
• Candidate must be Information and Communication Technology (ICT) compliant
• Candidate must present a current practicing License
• Candidate must not be more than 55 years as at the time he/she assumes duty.

Terms of Appointment and Conditions of Service

• Salary: CONMESS 7
• The appointment is for a period of four (4) years and could be renewed (once) based on satisfactory performance
• Conditions of service are as applicable in all other federal Polytechnics.
