Job Purpose:
Provide emergency first aid care and safely transport patients between hospitals, with continuous assessment of their condition and monitoring of vital signs. Ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing and emergency services during transfer, while maintaining ambulance equipment and working as part of a professional team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adhere to the Code of Conduct and apply safety principles.
- Respond to emergencies and ensure proper transfer of patients between hospitals or from the site of incident to the hospital.
- Assess patient conditions and perform all required life-saving first aid procedures.
- Provide all necessary nursing services to patients during transfer.
- Continuously monitor patients’ vital signs during transportation.
- Coordinate effectively with the operations department and hospitals.
- Maintain ambulance medical equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper organization.
- Replenish medications and consumables in the ambulance and ensure their validity.
- Document all required information regarding the patient, their condition, and the services provided, using both paper and electronic records in a timely manner.
- Perform any other duties assigned within the scope of responsibility.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Nursing Institute, Nursing School, or Nursing Faculty graduate; specialization in Emergency preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in ambulance systems or emergency departments.
- Proven experience in first aid and emergency response.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and within a team.
- Knowledge of hospitals, medical centers, and available specialties within the area of operation.
- Physical fitness to perform duties as a paramedic.
