Summary of the position
The nurse provides urgent medical care to patients in the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Center, who are exposed to emergency cases while they are in the center.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Key relationships:
with team leaders, physicians, and technicians.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Administering different types of medications or emergency treatments (and as directed by the doctor, if available).
- Providing the necessary first aid to patients inside the center when necessary.
- Communicate with patients to ascertain their feelings or their need for social and emotional help or support.
- Document or otherwise report observations of patient behavior, complaints, or physical symptoms to physicians.
- Observe or examine patients for symptoms that may require medical attention.
- Record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse or breathing rate.
- Explaining medical instructions to patients or family members.
- Applying hygiene standards in all medical activities
- Maintain the confidentiality of all patient documents, and not disclose any information related to the patient unless authorized by him/her.
- Any other tasks assigned to him by the line manager.
THE CANDIDATE’S REQUIREMENTS
Mandatory Qualifications required.
- University degree in nursing.
- Proven work experience as a Nurse.
Languages:
- Fluent written and spoken in Arabic or / and Turkish.
Competencies:
- Remote Management Tools and Techniques
- MS – Excel
- MS – Word
