Objective

WeWorld, active for years in Italy in promoting the rights and well-being of boys, girls and adolescents, intervenes in the area with educational and psychosocial actions aimed at preventing youth hardship and strengthening educational communities.

In the context of Cagliari, within a territorial partnership, the figure of the psychologist (s) will contribute to promoting the psychosocial well-being of adolescents through listening activities, individual and group support, and network work with schools, services and families. Embedded in a multidisciplinary approach, the psychologist/or reinforces protection factors, stimulates positive relationships and facilitates access to educational and growth opportunities.

Main activities

WeWorld is looking for a psychologist based in Cagliari for a two-year project on the psychological and social well-being of adolescents.

The figure will carry out, under the supervision of the project Project Manager, the following tasks:

• Reception and start of individualized psychological paths with adolescents taken care of at partner schools.
• Individual and group psychological support paths with parents who need support in relationships with their children.
• Constant liaison with the project team.
• Monitoring data collection.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications and knowledge

• Master’s degree in psychology and registration in the register of psychologists
• Excellent knowledge of the Italian language, spoken and written
• Good knowledge of the Office package

Professional experiences

• At least 3 years of activity with adolescents and/or in similar projects.
• Knowledge of local social and health services.

Skills and abilities

• High listening ability and empathetic relationship.
• Aptitude for teamwork, proactivity, dynamism, critical spirit and ability to work towards objectives and within the deadlines.
• Sensitivity and adaptability to different cultural contexts, gender, religion, ethnicity, nationality and age.
• Autonomy, precision, reliability and planning ability.
